In a “Taste of Sicily”, we travel to Palermo, Sicily where you will learn how to make some of my favorite dishes during this time of the year. We will make a caponata with eggplant,  a rice timballo filled with eggplant, tomato sauce and cheese.  We will follow with vegetable rolls accompanied by a traditional salad found in Palermo during the summer months. To complete our meal, we will make cannoli as they do in Palermo.  We will fill them with homemade ricotta and top them with a strip of my homemade candied orange peel.
